I cant wait for it and personnally going to wait in front of the store before opening to get it:D

This is the best ipad ever(well it always is with a new product but the functions....<3)

-It will probaly get a resolution higher then 1080p :D
-Better cameras is 99% sure if above rumor will turn out to be true, because 1mp doesnt look good on 1080p lol.
-Some say it has double battery life. i'd say this rumour is 0% true and can be thrown away.
-Quad Core Processor. we all know what this can make our devices to :D
-1gig ram would probaly be inserted together with the quad core:)

who else is deing for the media event that apple will soon announce?:D

Well, with a quad core processor and a higher resolution screen, your gonna NEED that double battery life :)

Na i think a extra 1000mah will let the ipad3 keep the 10 hours.
Some rumor sites claim it will get a 20 hours battery....well all i can say is bullshit.

Too much Crapple hype... I don't understand why people line up to buy something.. Wait a bit and you can probably get it for less even.

There's nothing revolutionary about the iPad 3. The iPad 1 was neat the rest are just little improvements here and there.

There will never be a best iPad ever. They will always add some little thing to it and +1 the number and that will be the best iPad ever for a year or so.

I sill have my iPad 1. It works fine and it does most of the stuff all the new ones do... Not enough to justify buying a new one.

I dont agree with that...i think the upgrade will be like 3gs to 4, wich was the most epic upgrade ever in the phone world imo.

I don't know, I've pretty much given up on all my real computers for an iPad (2). My computing needs are mostly just email and web any more. It does those pretty well, the only issue are the few sites that still insist on flash or IE.

I'd love one if we actually had decent cellular service up here. We don't even have 3G yet. If I were to get one now it would not offer anything over what I have except a larger screen. (I have an iPhone 3GS from when I lived in civilized areas.)

I was totally against the whole idea of the iPad until this past Christmas when my mom got my dad one. I didn't like the idea of him getting one at all. I figured it was way too expensive for a Christmas gift and he'd never use it. Against my opinion, my mother bought my dad an iPad 2. He LOVES it. He mostly uses the computer to read several investment blogs and do some stock trading. Both of which he can do perfectly from the iPad.

I think the biggest misconception with the iPad is that people think it can replace a computer completely. For some it can, but for most it can't. But for basic email and web based services it's perfect. The operating system is easy to use and the display is easy on the eyes. That being said, I'm in NO way an apple fanboy, I've had a Zune for the past 2 years, I use an Android phone and I won't be switching to an iPhone ever. But the iPad is a really neat piece of technology and I'm a little excited to see what else they can put into it.

Meaning 2048*1536 :D
The ipad and iphone are both 2 excellent pieces of hardware.

The iPad 2 camera is an embarrassment. I don't even use mine because of how horrible the image quality is.

That would be a pretty nice resolution. I'm glad Apple isn't following the trend of so many notebook manufacturers and shipping shitty tiny screens that are like 1366px x 600-something in resolution. The latter is like humans regressing back to apes.

Agreed. Its not like the iPad really needs one except maybe for FaceTime.

I think I've actually used FaceTime twice just to test it n my phone though...

Already know about the Ipad3 screen and it's being manufactured by LG. Yes it'll be a retina display screen. There is some additional differences between this and the 4S screen. Pixel density I assure you is well beyond that needed for full HD capability, but whether or not the screen can utilize the full resolution is up to the new Quadcore Cortex A9 configuration. We'll see. Also a rumor is a big bump in storage space on the new Ipad.
