My call for these situations is -- 110 grains of hollow point slug carefully applied to some point deemed vital to the attacker. NOTE... This target point may not always be the head ;D

it's the same thing as the laser dazzlers... basically you pulse light at 8-30hz and it messes up your sense of orientation. If the light is bright enough that you can still see it ( the pulses )with your eyes closed it really can mess you up. It goes away almost instantly when the pulses are removed.

and yes epileptics are a big problem. expect these toys to be overused as much as tasers.

There's big issues with laser dazzlers. most are 250 or 500 mw unit that have a MINIMUM range for 10-20 meters. no retarded cop who is going to use one of these is going to be that fdar away.

That's why the new flashlight ones are coming out, especially with the new LED's that are super bright and need less power. Stick lithium batteries into the mix and you have a winner possibly.

i still don't know why cops just dont have dart guns with say a few hundred mcg of fentanyl and a syringe of noloxone. dart them, watch them drop like a ragdoll and cuff them, then noloxone to reverse it.

Yeah-- My call for the situation is a 250 grain, 1,200 fps starfish-splinter copper-electro-plated match grade bullet!
Or if you have time to get out the bad boy... Oh, I wont even go there! Okay, maybe I will... http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XZL797pOAZ0

Still drool for my future Remington 700 VLS 22-250... My dads can easily hit a sack of bread at 1/3 mile ten outta ten times. We are talking <.04 MOA groups! Give it a steady hand and you can shoot the cap off a bottle at 300 yards.

Uh, yeah... I am not a paranoid gun owner... ;)

In other news, I heard about this as well as some other non-lethal items recently. One was a briefcase that zapped anyone who walked by with a crapload of electricity-- Seriously, the thing is basically a small portable motion-triggered tesla coil. 10ft range...

The other leet thing was a ultra-low-frequency microwave emitter. Basically feels like your getting immolated, but it doesn't actually burn you. The downside is if you are wearing glasses, you get an electrical arc that zaps your eyeballs and permanently blinds you. Or... if you have spare change in your pocket, or a ring, or anything metallic... Zap! Coins burn a hole in your pocket, rings nearly burn fingers off... But imagine trying to hold a gun whilst getting zapzored!

PS: As for fentanyl... I still wanna make that. Its not THAT hard...

dx will have them soon
it would be amazing if DX sold them, but it would also be a bad thing, because knowing DX they will sell them cheap, and kids will go around buying them and making people throw up!! ;D
