okay so i might be getting a laptop.
it says no disc found when you turn it on then the screen goes blank.
can it be fixed easily or should i not get it.
im not giving him very much though.
thanks in advance.

If it say no disc found, the first thing that you have to do is check the disk ..... remove it and connect it on a different PC with an external usb interface (or ask someone to do this, if you cannot do it) .....

If also on the other pc the disk is not recognized, you need a new one ..... if on the other pc the disk is recognized and work correctly, then can be the connections in your notebook, or the interface on the mb ..... if is the connector, maybe a bit of contact cleaner can solve the problem, if is the interface, nothing to do, the better thing is to ask for repair at the manufacturer if in warranty ..... if not in warranty, the expense for have the mb changed can be the same of buy a new one .....
