A little update for those who watched the first videos. I have now been told that no new launches are PROHIBITED due to the recent weather.
from about April 14 we have been setting some insane heat records across much of the province. With the heat comes low humidity which = serious fire hazard.
On April 18th a new record high for Victoria B.C. was set at 32.4c, out my way we hit 33.5c. For April typically hits 17-20c around my area.
The weather out here has been insane, infact having the highest April temperature average ( both highs and lows) in history.
Our local fire dept has been told by the ministry of forests to raise the fire hazard to high. This is far earlier than typical.
No new flights will be possible unless significant rain falls in the next few days which is very unlikely. :yabbmad:
Disappointing but safety first.
