I have a allot of problems with my computer a need to re-format it bad, but I've looked everywhere and cant find my recovery disks. Yeah f*** me.
So, I want to know if looking for a pirated Vista-OS is a good idea..? What can go wrong etc? Will it work with laptops, I have a Fujitsu Siemens.

Those modified copies of XP that go faster and install un-atended do really work, I at least used to use the XP XE (xtreme edition) and worked really nice.

It's almost imposible to know if XP will be 100% compatible with your pc, but It will in 99% of the systems after downloading the proper drivers.

Answsering your second question, there are not laptop versions, they are all the same.
