Gamer Thread: What are your games?

Flutter, you can play GW2 and crafy your own items and learn crafting skills. You can play world vs world ( server vs server), player vs player. The storylines are continuously changing! Its not all about the gear or level cap! Its a truly living story!!!!!

A few of those look like the Taj Majal in India. The last one looks like a French building and the first looks like something but i am not sure what. You must play in Creative mode lol. I do too, just an observation.

The first and second are Art Deco builds, the first one fictional and the second heavily based off Battersea Power Station.

and yes, creative all the way for builds like this. The surv/creative argument rages on as always but this kind of building wouldn't be possible (in terms of motivation) for me on surv. Why stifle creativity? Scale is hard to imagine here but that power station build is huge - if you look carefully it exceeds the render distance.

I guess I don't really like Minecraft because, as far as gameplay value goes, it's traded off for creativity and creation possibilities, and I just like creating my stuff in other ways and somewhere else.

As you can all see, gaming is quite a passion of mine, and I'm very interested in getting a job in the industry. Even with it's current state as it is (it ain't all sunshine and bunnies in game dev world, I am well aware of that), but I can sure hope for a change - and even if not, I am still up for creating worlds and experiences that we otherwise couldn't live to see if it weren't for the computer technology

OK truth be told, the hands holding a gun isn't mine - hands are from CryENGINE assets and the gun is from Mass Effect (extracted from the game), and I was working on posing and animating it so I can fire an Avenger rifle in first person in Crysis

Still working on that, though.

Usually GTAV, COD Black ops ll, MW3, Black ops. Played BOll on the pc aswell, don't like it because of the lags (ain't got a gamingpc)

What are your PC specifications?

BTW Lag has nothing to do with your PC.

Lag is noticeable delay between performing an input, and getting it's feedback on the screen. It's common on online gaming because of connection quality issues.

What you are referring to is probably low framerate. That can always be helped.

I'm just using a Dell laptop, without power from the wall it is lagging all over and my connection is a wificonnection, no LANcable so that makes it slower to. On my ps3 I dont have any problems so I prefer the ps3
