You can see the LPF symbol in the middle of the screen. All the bubbles sprouting from it are the sites that track you whenever you visit. You can also see google and business week's trackers.

That's ridiculous. Why are there so many trackers on LPF?

I thought maybe that was just common across the web. But I viewed DealExtreme, and DinoDirect (in my mind, they were likely to be "bad players"), and I got like TWO bubbles (and the bubbles were just Facebook and Baidu).

Avery is really security conscious. I wonder if he realizes what's going on?

I'm seriously not very comfortable with this.

I thought that too. But I closed my browser and logged on again, and its still blank. I went to another site, and LPF and the other site showed up, but they were the only 2. I even went to a porn site and the only thing linked was twitter, because there is a twitter option on the site. I went to a few more site too, and only the site showed up. Obviously every site I go to adds a link to previous sites, but if I just stay on LPF it stays blank. Same for every site for the most part.

I block nearly all unessential tracking through my browser add-ons, router, cookie handling, my host file, and other blocking programs. I'm bullet proof for the most part. If I was really nuts I'd run everything through a proxy, but I dont need to because I'm not doing anything fishy. I just dont like companies making money off what I'm doing on the web.

For me LPF is tracked by google, youtube, and photobucket (so far). Nothing looks too suspicious. I have ad-block on, I don't know if that filters any trackers...

You seem to have so much crap on you Jake, may it be spyware on your machine...?

Every single one of the websites is a adclick dawt com or double click dawt com or media hub dawt com or crap like that

If I do have spyware it's being undetected by mcaffee and kaspersky

Any suggestions? The same 10-12 sites come up whenever I'm on LPF

I don't have adblocker on or anything like that

Edit: that "spider web" I posted was after viewing LPF, google, and businessweek.com not just LPF

2nd edit: @TJ I figured the sites you visited would show up on the spider web no? Like LpF and porn should show up as bubbles on there even if nobody is tracking you?

Download Mawarebytes to clean your browser. And get the Adblock Plus, and Better Privacy add-on for Firefox on their add-on page.

Strangely only LPF does not show up if I start my browser and log on. Only after I visit another web site does it show up. Yes other web sites appear as I surf, and a couple share a Google connection. But if I only surf one web site at a time they are no other connections.

You guys may like this....I just downloaded it.

Ghostery

Ghostery - Download

You'll need to set it....it lists all the tracking cookies, malware etc. in each site you visit. I set it to block everything.

You will see what's following you in the upper right hand of the page you load. (this site had 2)

chrome://ghostery/content/options.html

After it's downloaded you will see the little blue ghost on the bottom right of your screen and you can click it on to see what's tracking you and what's blocked. You can individually block them too through this icon.

These are nice to know too:
