So after lots of waiting, designing, and several RMA's, I finally finished my dream of building a high end gaming PC. :D

I'll list out all the tech specs, and follow up with some pictures! :D (Im super excited, in case you cant tell)

CPU:
Intel Core i7 4930K
-6 Cores
-3.4Ghz
-12MB L3 Cache

Motherboard:
ASUS X79 Deluxe
-6 SATA 6GB/s ports
-3 PCI-Express 3.0 slots (2 16X slots, 1 8X slot)
-6 USB 3.0 ports
-Awesome GUI BIOS

RAM:
4X G.Skill Sniper series 4GB
-DDR3-1600
-9 CAS Latency
-Quad Channel

Graphics:
EVGA GeForce 780 Ti Superclocked
-3GB GDDR5
-980Mhz core
-1046Mhz boost

Storage:
750GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD
4TB Western Digital Black HDD

Power Supply:
Corsair RM 850 Watt modular

CPU Cooler:
Corsair H100i closed loop liquid cooler

Case:
Corsair Obsidian 750D

This is easily the most powerful computer I've ever owned. So far its taken everything I've thrown at it without complaint. Haven't benchmarked it yet, but it plays the new Tomb Raider on "ultra" at 1080p and still gives me 60+ FPS.

Im also very pleased with the cooling systems. My CPU idles at about 25 C and only got up to 40 C while converting an entire 50 GB blu-ray to Mp4. And my graphics card idles at around 30 C and peaked at about 70 C while playing Tomb Raider. :D

I've got it hooked up to an excellent ASUS ProArt 248 monitor (I'm using this computer for professional video/photo work as well), and the image quality compared to a gaming LCD is stunning. I'm planning on adding another 780 Ti and another ProArt 248 monitor to my setup. :D

Thanks for reading!

Very nice!

I have a similar "off the shelf" system. The main difference being a 4770K and stock cooling.

Nice Work ! :)

I used to do a lot of 3D modeling and Rendering in the past with Autodesk 3DS Max ... Also had a nice computer a few years ago. Now I just do not have time for it ...

One thing I've noticed is how much cooling technology has improved since I last build a computer in 2006. At idle I can't even hear the fans running, and playing tomb raider only causes it to be audible as a light "whoosh" sound.

Very nice build! Love it.. I have always wanted to do a nice gaming rig for myself but i have always made pc's for others and had laptops for myself..

Also, do you mean 70deg Celsius? or Fahrenheit? Because 70 deg C is quite hot?
My laptop gpu's barely hit 45 C running Tomb Raider on Ultra..

Ah yes, had some trouble getting all the connections right for my cooling setup, and my software wasn't giving me accurate readings.

Got that all sorted, and my card only went up to 55C.

Got a second 780 Ti and ran them in SLI, and each card dropped to about 40 C since they split the load across 2 cards. Im quite pleased with this machine.

Next I need to get some more SSD'd and HDD's and set up some RAID arrays.
