I spent a largely futile length of time last night browsing for a specific power supply. I also searched LPF threads where others had posted listings of favorite suppliers like the threads below:

The real find I made within these threads was reference made to this search engine site:
Octopart - Electronic Parts, Electronic Components, Datasheets
I was really super impressed as Octopart breaks down the returned search results by:
) Manufacturer and Part Number
) Datasheet Link
) Supplier (noted if the supplier is an authorized factory representative)
) Supplier Part Number
) Price
) Availability (quantity supplier has in stock)
) Buy it Now Link
) Suppliers Home Page Link
In addition, for each Manufacturer’s respective part number there are links to/for:
) Compare Suppliers
) Technical Specifications
) Categories
) Descriptions
) Datasheets
) Images
) Comments
) Related Parts
) Alternate Names
After having found Octopart.com (Which facilitated finding the most suitable power supply for my application, along with securing the best price and delivery) I wondered if anyone else has come across electronics search engines having sufficient benefit for which it would be of value to make note?
