Ok.....Using newegg or any computer parts site, pick out all of the components to make the fastest computer you can think of for less than $1,500 (with OS)(no monitor) (with speakers) (with input devices).

The person who comes up with the fastest computer (with OS) (no monitor) (with speakers) (with input devices) for the cheapest price wins......nothing. I just want to see what some of you guys can come up with.

What are you going to go with? INTEL, AMD, Nvidea, ATI????? and so on.

I will post mine later when I have some time..

Here is the computer that I have picked all of the parts for. The total price might be over $1500, but after mail in rebates, it brings it under the $1500 max limit.

Whats with the IDE hard drives?

And whats the intended usage of the PC you are wanting built? Just curious...
I'll build one as soon as I get the time, I'm at work right now. Good thread idea though, I love building computers.

Oops...I didn't realize that I grabed IDE hard drives....good catch.

Gaming and all other intensive purposes.
