Peaked over $1000, guess it's time to find my wallet from two years ago. Had less than a coin, but it's actually worth something now :p

Back when grix gave me 0.5btc I believe it was worth about $10, now over 500! I should have bought like 10btc back then...

Am I a glutton for punishment? We'll see if I either laugh or cry in a week or so. I bought some more equipment from BFL on their black friday sale.

Yeah, I know.

They claimed all product lines are caught up and now in stock. We'll see if that holds true like all the other promises they broke. Wish me luck and call me a dumbass :)

I wish! Actually I just checked back to the op and he said it was worth about $6. That means that with the current prices we are looking at around 100x increase. Thats just crazy.

I could buy a lot of cool stuff from ada if I still had it!

My question is, do you guys think it will stabilize here or is a crash iminent? When it first rose a crash seemed very likely but now that it has held for a while and still continued to slowly grow it seems to me that its going to stay.

It already grown hundred fold and you have the opportunity to sell it.
Better real cash in hand than nothing in the end or at least lower than now.
If you are waiting for more then you are just greedy. :)

Still offering that 0.5 starter BTC Grix? ;)

Edit:
As for the litecoin discussion I think it's a good idea. I think it would be best to have more than one core crypto-currency for stability. Then again I don't know a whole lot about the economics behind crypto-currencies.

Didn't they use to cost like $15 just a month or two ago?

They are 0.06 BTC on the BTCGuild whatever that corresponded to a month or two ago.

All this public attention has got people thinking "oooo free money" without doing the math on how much a miner is actually worth ;)

I did the math, and with these things you actually lose money. When you consider hardware costs and electricity costs.

Thus why you rent. Utilities included in rent for a flat rate :D

Exactly, I plan to move into an apartment soon ( although these are just my hopes as of now). Then I would be able to get a nice rig going without worrying about electricity costs.
