What are your favorite PS3 games, and why?

Santa might be bringing me a PS3. :san:

So far I like...

Amazon.com: Midnight Club: LA Complete Edition Greatest Hits: Video Games

Fallout 3 GOTY looks awesome, but all I can find is people complaining about bugs, shudders, and crashes.

soul edge or soul calibour or whatever it's called in its latest installment.
Gran Turismo.
I've only played their predecessors though.

GranTourismo should be epic as it always has been.
I tried Grand Theft Auto only once, but its getting
better by the release... I have all GTA & GTfor PS2.

Im still waiting for PS3's price to come down..
That and I dont get much time in for games
anymore.

I squeeze in some Mario Cart with my
18 month old daughter

The apple has not fallen far

Uncharted 2 has amazing visuals. If your into online FPS get Battle Field Bad Company 2. Gran Turismo 5 will be awesome. GTA 4 is the best GTA yet. Little Big Planet is Fun and addictive.

Its been a while since I played any games. I used to be a video game guru. We used to go for days at a time on a game, no shower, just sandwiches, ice cream, and brews. The last console I had was the PS1 when it first came out. So its been a while.

I don't have a PS-3, but I do have a Nintendo WII, N64, an old Nintendo and a PS-1.
I want an X box for some of the games it has. My daughter has an X Box, PS-3 and a WII. They have most of the games. I like games like Modern warfare, granturismo and my favorite for PS3 is Grand Theft Auto.

GTA never turned me on.

I know...ZOMG, how can you say that!?!?!

I havent played the latest addition, but I've played a few older ones, and I didnt get into it.

How 'bout God of War III?



They say the fighting is lame, and there are a lot of puzzles, but the scenes look amazing.

I just played my buddies 40+" 3d TV with Motor Storm and Black OPs, it was the shiznit.
very expensive but the game play is something awesome.

Have not tried that one, my biggest problem is once I start playing I will stay up all night. Not like I ever do that here. I want to get Back Ops and they just released a speacial edition of 007 Golden Eye for Wii, I always thought the Golden Eye for N64 was the best game. I am into Halo I had it on my PC until it died, that's why I want to get an XBox.

One of the main reasons I'm getting the PS3 is the Blu-Ray player, and being able to connect to the internet to download movies from Netflix. The game part is a bonus.

Doom hooked me the hardest.

@ Cheech. I still think those 3D video players and TVs are bullchit. There is no such thing as a special 3D signal. Rendering is rendering. Maybe they have to put better electronics in the players, but the TV will show any signal its fed.

Ignis... like yourself, finding time for gaming these days is precious - but when it happens:

I've always been a sucker for GTA. Maybe not your fav, I read that above but I'm just saying....of all the hype & new games that come out faster than I can solve global issues... GTA will always hold a place in my heart.

Uncharted II... if you want your shoes AND feet blown right out from underneath you, uncharted II is without a doubt the most impressive (graphics, reality, ect) game I've ever played.

I'm not up to date on the latest & greatest (ex black ops) but for someone in their late 30's (me) or old & almost dead (you hehehe j/k) - - these games stand far above what else I've seen on todays gamin platforms. ...just my .02

Grenade launchers in the temple?? I've lost abou...err I've enjoyed about 3 years of my life devoted to playing Goldeneye on the 64 - specifically grenade launchers in the temple :gun:

you might like bioshock 2 to, if your also into racing burnout paradise! had so much fun with that game and its cheap now! you even get all expansions with it now

i found gran turismo 5 a bit different than it used to be, steering fel kinda stiff.
might be that i have to get used to it again or something....

and certainly battlefield BC2 if you like some chaos wars online

fallout 3 is absolutly awesome, but you gotta take time for it you cant just rush trough it in a couple of hours.

o and dont do that jailbreak usb kinda thingy, you can get banned from PSN if they notice....and the will notice
