I do not have a PS3 but my favorites are GT5, GoW3 and CoD Modern Warface. I have also heard good things about Heavy Rain and Uncharted2.

@Ignis Fatuus I think the TV has a refresh rate of 240 hertz which I don't think it needs because you only see like 24 frames a second, but with that rate you need there $150 glasses to view it. Without glasses it just looks fuzzy.
pretty sick though. I wish they just made anaglyph 3d games so my cheap ass could have 3d.

I dont spend too much time on my PS3, i'm usually gaming on my 360. Halo Reach, Black Ops, MW2, Borderlands, and the Bad Company 2 are some really good FPS.

I wanted to get that, but a lot of people are having freezing, and frame rate problems. So many problems there are forums devoted to trying to help you work around them. :yabbem:

only when i shot off a couple of mini nukes inside a house

Not every system has issues. Seems the US and Canadian versions have the worst problems. One work around was to let it load for 45 minutes before you start playing, and 15 minutes every other load. That would suck. People are still waiting for the patch to fix it.

hmm sounds horrible, and i wouldnt expect a patch for that since its already a somewhat old game.

Beware modding a PS3. Its not that easy, and you could turn it into a brick. Also you will get thrown off the Playstation network if they detect a mod. Half the fun of the PS3 is to play on the network with other players. Some of these games only last 6 hours. Multi-player will bring many more hours of game play.
