Any Rubik's Cubers Out There?

I'm a frequent cuber, not too fast (it takes me about 2 minutes every time), but it keeps my hands busy so that I seem to fidget less. It's also kindof relaxing, in an odd way.

Just picked up a 4x4 the other day, and getting a good start on it, but my wife hates the thing already.

Any other cubers out there? Are you fast? Any other talents, like one-handed or blind-folded? Got a 4x4 or 5x5?

I can solve one in around 65sec. I haven't done one in a while, as I broke my last one :'(. Never tried the 4x4.

48 seconds is my best on a 3x3 and I can solve the 4x4. ;) It's a real pain though!

I have friends that can solve a 3x3 in 25 seconds and a 5x5 in quite a long time. 2x2's are awesome.

I have a 3x3 on my desk at work but haven't taken the time to master it. I can do it in about an hour with instructions, or I just go to rubix repair.com and cheat. This video is amazing:

Ya I cube too.

I'm not that fast; personal record = 2 minutes 1 second.

But it's fun, especially doing finger tricks with a DIY cube.

Jeez, do you compete? That 3x3 time is well up there, and none of the other are too shabby at all, I'm amazed.

Chris Hardwick, one of the best in the US from what I understand of competitions, went to my high school, here's his website: http://www.speedcubing.com/chris/ He is the current US Record holder in some things, and at one point was the world record holder in one-handed 3x3.

I average about 45 seconds. I've been a cube fanatic for about 4 months. I can solve a lot of different variations too. Twistypuzzles.com is a sweet site for cubes.

I can finish the 4x4 in 7 mins and 3x3 in ~1minute, but I never got a hold of the other cubes.
