After seeing a custom 2D barcode avatar at another forum, I had to make my own. I had to add the color since this is a laser forum. Yes, it still scans. The first person to figure it out gets a virtual cookie!

Correct me if I'm wrong but wouldn't that be considered a 2d bar code since the standard old school bar codes are single dimension? One axis on a upc code and two axis on these newer ones (BCBP). Google search of 2d bar code will return more info on this.

True. I've always heard others refer to it as 3D and that fact never crossed my mind.

i have a barcode reader on my blackberry called "scanlife" it gets all the traditional UPC's but i couldn't read yours. also scan live lets you create your own 2d barcode too. but if you want it universally published you have to pay. otherwise only ppl with "scanlife" can scan it.

Yeah, I think it's a common mistake. I didn't mean anything personal by it though.:beer:

I use the bar code scanner on my phone..
your colors didn't affect it at all.
