Well, it's that time of year when the Coral sea is most active, and recently it has shoved this at us:

tcyasi.jpg

So far it is forecast to hit just South of my hometown tomorrow as a category 4 system (Winds 200km/h upwards)

As such, I may not have power for at least a few weeks after this. But I'm sure daguin is more than capable of keeping the place under control, so ;)

Cheers,
Dan

Well, looks like this cyclone is going to cross within 20km of me as a cat 5 system, with winds over 300km/h. I doubt I'll have power for at least 2 weeks, if not a LOT more after this.

We'll see what happens, but the wind should start picking up tomorrow, and the power will be cut on purpose by 3pm if the wind hasn't already taken it out. Army and Navy have already been deployed to here to help out.

This is a perfect time to para sailing in your back yard!

We're suppose to get 12-23" today here in central Missouri. They aren't being very specific with the estimates lol
Gov. Nixon declared a state of emergency and deployed national guard troops.
He must not have this pretty girl sitting in his driveway like me :)

Put up some wind turbines and make a killing!

If somehow we could harnas all the energy this cyclone would produce on its rampage, it could power all the electronical equiptment in the world for a year!

Best of luck to ya Dan, I know what it's like to experience these monster storms, though thankfully I wasn't alive for Andrew, it was on par with Yasi, but I've been through some bad ones. It'll be over before you know it.
