It would definitely be worth it, if it was his. The only reason he can sell this for so little money is that the only parts he paid for are the box, the battery, the switch, and the wire.

Dave's address was even on the package that Dave sent the Weasel.  :mad:

He replied to me again...

I tried to re sell it after i had no choice + no info where dave is other then Sweet California, and i had nothing to do with the laser as i have at 3 other Blu rays i built. Im not just going to have the laser sitting here Collecting dust,when Somebody can start a new Hobby with lasers for only 35$

Why don't you try to contact dave? You obviously have not made an effort to clear your name.

IT DOES NOT BELONG TO YOU BECAUSE YOU NEVER PROVIDED COMPENSATION TO THE SELLING PARTY.

Dave never once said that he never wanted compensation for the laser, you owe him money for this regardless of what your trying to do to justify it, you OWE HIM MONEY OR A LASER.

It should NOT be collecting dust, it should either be on its way to dave or for sale AFTER dave has been PAID.

The reason I ask, is because someone could buy it and put it in a MXDL and donate it to LPF for a raffle and/or get Dave his money, if he cares. I know it's more the principal of it, but bitching about this kid isn't going to solve anything. This kid WILL get the rug pulled out from under his feet one way or another, and he will learn that people can't be played with by his ignorant mentality even through the "safety" of the internet.

I was thinking something that could be accomplished by many forum members from their homes,

Such as mailing him the same letter over and over again until he finally paid dave or sent him the laser.

Make it sound very legal or whatever.

I dont think it was his intial idea on how to get his small business going. But I do think that he got to the point where the mighty greenback got the better of his young mind :-/

Down the bottom right of every post it says 'IP logged' so just ask c0ld for it :)

But if you're trying to find his actual address, that's not so hard, since Dave already would of had it to send the parts. So what we need to do now is find out if anyone lives nearby, and if those people have some baseball bats for a shakedown ;D
