I really have no idea how it promotes wicked lasers.
Im sure that laser on the sharks head is "wicked" but there lasers sure arn't wicked.

That is usually the case, forum members who have taken apart one of the green WL pens say that they are decent quality, they just send out so many of them underspec'd.

What did you say?
The fact that almost all of them are under spec, means the quality / quality control is very low or non-existent.

In comparison to a DX laser, they are excelent, but not worth the money. My main reason is because they require little to no warm up time for a Green laser.

Have you seen the graphs?! Talk to ohada...his graphs from a Laserbee show otherwise.

Many people, myself included, are very unhappy about this. Is there any other way for revenue to be generated? I'd rather have 5 full-size banner ads of decent companies than one of...THEM.

When I was a new member, and for the first few months even, I thought that the banners on the top were c0ldshadow's personal recommendations for where I should buy my lasers. Now, with Wickedlasers on the top, new members will be scammed into buying from them and angry when we tell them they wasted their money.

I will try to start a thread to see if there is any other way. I'm sure that many people would be glad to support your site in return for advertising.

This is only helping the mongers get more business and not just through the top search result from google, now from trusted forum members. They will see a crappy company at the top of a reputable forum.

I think you guys mistake your own importance here. Its C0ld's forum. He lets us use it for free to build these wonderful things we all enjoy. Who do you think you guys are telling him who can and who cant help fund the forum? its only a company, its not Satan. Did you ever think if more members donated he would not need to use outside resources to pay for the forum. So don't argue with him and be grateful we are allowed access to this great resource for free. If you don't like the adds then step up and start donating monthly to the forum. Other than that stop bitching about the adds. Because if there were no adds, there would be no forum.

It was only a matter of time. Wicked would know that these are the most popular laser pointer forums on the net and would need to crack this market.

I was kinda hoping they'd do it with better quality control and better lasers... but no... they instead went with a shark with a laser strapped to its head... :-/

Hey now, I support Cold in what ever he decides to do to keep this forum running and if I could donate more money, I would. I was just shocked to see wicked lasers on here.

Well forum member iskor wanted sharks w/lasers and I would say he got them... ;D ;D ;D

I would reserve my complaints for my wife she is the only one that listens to me any ways...

I also would reseve my complaints to see what Chuck... I mean Niko has to say .

Nice to see there are some more companys coming to support this fantastic forum

whether or not people think it is a reputable company or not I still think it's great that c0ld can have enough funding to keep this site going.

Blurayjunkie is correct its colds forum he said welcome them so don't bash them on his Thread please welcome them thread thats not cool i try to support whenever i have extra cash here and there not alot maybe 25 bucks total does he deserve more hell yes now if every member put in 5 bucks a year it would help him out big time --shoot he had to sell his blue portable recently that means times are tough for him right now i have a techlaser 95 doing great ;D ;D
