So when did the video ads show up at the bottom of the page?

Pretty sure I just had a nervous breakdown trying to locate the voices coming out of my speakers without a website that typically hosts video ads running. I was moments away from unplugging my computer and crying in a corner because I couldn't find and stop it.

Just so everyone's aware they are at the bottom of the page. Don't go insane trying to find and kill it.

I think last time LPF started talking Ave said it wasn't intentional, he'll probably fix it when he looks at this thread.

Pretty sure ads with sounds are against TOS... PM/Email c0ld so he can have them removed.

Also check that it's not some kind of malware. (Run malwarebytes, and antivirus of your choice.)

They are not popping up overtime and refreshing the page usually pulls up another ad without the sound so its not always there. Anyone else seeing these or is it just me? It just started today about an hour ago.

Clear your browser's cookies, once I had something similar where the same ad would go on all websites that I visited. If on chrome it's really easy.

I have been seeing these here for a few days now and I use Chrome and it frequently causes my browser to freeze for a minute or so and then a Realplayer plugin crashes and then my browser works again, it is starting to get very annoying.

Laserbeak introduced me to Ghostery for Chrome. works well here, the page loads faster with no ads. if you don't enable the google AJAX search API, you can't use the search bar at the bottom though, so be sure to enable it

A Realplayer plugin? Wow, I haven't heard of that software for a long time. I didn't even know that people installed that media malignancy anymore.

Hi guys, I contacted that ad network to see if there is anyway they can block all auto playing audio ads on LPF.

PS @Bionic-Badger, I agree realplayer is quite possibly the worst and most bloated piece of software ever written.

VLCMedia player for the win lol

Still going on...and hugely annoying..

I'll have to filter all the ads as Adblock can't nail it.

I haven't gotten any video ads but I don't know which ad triggers it on my PC where my mouse cursor disappears when I stop moving it and it appears again once I move the mouse and it instantly disappears again once I stop. I narrowed it to LPF since my mouse cursor comes back on to normal when I close the LPF tab on firefox.
