hi team,
testing speed benefit of SSD for rsync vs SAS storage transfer w/ rsync. there may be a slight lag during this test but it should likely be very little impact.

Still lags for me sometime. Navigation is good, but posting in the forum, and PM is very slow. Hang for 10 seconds sometimes.

reason for the lag on posts is application security firewall inspection on each post

working on tweaking this to optimize it


the next time it lags bad for u, can u send me the exact, word for word contents of the msg u were sending? that will help me tweak rules and analyze potential things to optimize

PMs are the worst. They all lag.

I still see delays in PM posting now, usually (15 to 20 seconds), but due to my line the delays in page refreshing and normal/quick posting seem not so much increased, from the past.

Edit: 4 seconds this one.

Edit2: and just 3 seconds for the editing.
