Slow load times?

Is anyone else getting really slow load times on these forums?

I mean, my internet connection is slow (10kb/s) but I have no problem loading any other pages on the internet. But these forums, sometimes they take a very long time to load.

Especially when I'm trying to post a reply. It takes ages to load the reply box. Sometimes, it never loads. I refresh, I wait, but it just never comes up and I have to forego posting :(

Yes, I have noticed that sometimes the pages take a while to load even on my 8 Mbit connection. It doesn't do it all the time though.

that is strange about the slow load times, everything seems to be fine on the server

murudai, i would advise using the quick reply box at the bottom of the thread, that way you don't need to click reply and wait for anything to load.

It varies on my end. It is usually fast, but sometimes pages take a good while to load for a few minutes at a time.

It doesn't happen all the time for me, only some times. But it seems some people with fast connections are having the same problem :-? Maybe worth investigating?

That's what I try to do. Thing is, if you want to quote someone you have to press the quote button and wait for it to load (unless you just copy and paste and manually type the tags... but that's a hassle).

sometimes webpages tend to "stick" and usually redoing the action will send another request to the server and get things going smoothly again - otherwise it could be a problem on your end

That's exactly what I do, but sometimes it doesn't work.

I'm not sure it's completely a problem on my end. You look through the replies in this thread and half the people here are having the same problem.
