Hi All,

server move is complete and at this time i think everything should be working fine.

please let me know if you are having any issues with site since the move


i restructured the URL scheme of LPF to be shorter too btw ( no more laser_pointer_forums_3 in the URL


the donations for this month have been outstanding and just wanted to thank u all for the support. this level of support is making a dedicated server possible and will continue to help us have this powerful system



btw... if you know of a forum member who still is being redirected to old site please let me know... or u can tell them to set their DNS to 4.2.2.2 or 4.2.2.3 and new site will work. it seems some ppls DNS has been really slow to update

No problems to report Cold but the new server is much faster. I can tell a difference in page load times and server response. :gj:

glad its even faster, with 8gb ram and quad core we are in great shape=)

Yeah the site is really flying... page loading is Uber Fast...:sold:
and Searches seem to be faster as well...
Good Idea to move to the new server...:gj:

Started to get the add reloading problem again. But only from email notification links. The regular forum links work fine.

Sorry I just took a quick walk on the beach.

When I click the link in my email notification the page opens and the ads change, the whole page reloads again, then ads change again, the page reloads, and again, ect. it doesn't stop reloading the page. I have to hit "stop" and then "reload" to get he page to open correctly. If I'm just browsing the forum this does not happen. It only happen through the email notification links.
