hi all, i was just troubleshooting an issue w/ a user reputation (EzPk). basically the reputation power was showing as 0 even tho it had many green bars

example:

http://laserpointerforums.com/f45/first-greenie-oh-ya-46822.html#post633287

in effort to fix the issue i ran a function in vb but it made it so any 'custom' reputations i had previously given went away. all regular rep pts are still in-tact

if u guys want, can some1 create a poll regarding:

1) should i manually reupdate ppl
2) leave it the way it is

note: only customly given rep pts were lost

side note: EzPk's rep is still having a problem w/ the rep power, i will be working on fixing this

sorry for any troubles

regards

I think it's funny suddenly seeing people's "real" rep from users. I had nothing against people getting big rep because they had been suggested by other members for a boost, had donated a lot or similar things (I even had quite a lot of boosts from that myself).

However I find it interesting so see how many points people have from other members. For example, TJ is suddenly close to the top!

I think it should be left as it is. The people that had >9000 rep power still have more than everyone else, so it isn't really an issue - some will probably disagree though

Thanks for the update c0ld. I was just wondering what the hell was going on :p
I don't mind for my rep points being lost. But if the others decide that their points should be given back then i'm with them.

Poor roosl and his previously huge reputation Ö
Just remember that your reputation as a kind and contributing member as well as generous donator was not and cannot be deleted (unless... aliens).

I don't think very many of the Vets are very excited about the rep disappearing though.. We were the ones who lost the most, so if anyone among us cares about this rep going (I do not), they will surely be the saddest.

Seb

EDIT: Hey c0ld, posted a poll here: http://laserpointerforums.com/f58/rep-loss-want-back-46999.html

Why have so many peoples rep jumped into the 100's and mine dropped below 30? Weird ...
