Sounds good to me ;D The rep system's ok because if you see someone (like me) with a rep of 10, you go 'ok why duz he have 10', you click the number, and go 'o, he haz rep cos hes funneh not cos hes trustworthy :O" Problem solved.

Well, I don't think it states anywhere that you can't have a reputation for being funny ;)

i think we should leave it as it is...wasting time in a "vigilante" group just to correctly rep someone is not cool....use that time to provide useful stuff to the forums instead

also

"Approve of my post? Did it make you chuckle? Then give me some repz because i needs it to buy food :<" :D

serious food problem?

never gonna let you down

never gonna tell a lie....and hurt you

I'm *so* glad I don't have flash installed right now...

Anyways, a couple things about the rep system, 1: you probably shouldn't be able to give yourself rep points. 2: it would be nice if there were a "neutral" rep option where you can just write a comment (which you can already do btw, by modifying changerepa to =0 in the url)

edit: Oh, and it would be nice sometimes if you could retract or edit rep points you've left for others.

you can give "neutral" rep points....if you figured out how to give yourself rep then you should know how to ;)

yeah it is pretty obvious, but if we told people how to neutral rep, then yeah they'd know how to rep themselves.

yeah, you'll notice I gave directions on how to in my post... in fact, I gave myself a neutral rep point a couple days ago to test...

Anyways, what I meant by that was maybe we could give the option, like a button you can click on, to give neutral rep points.

Someone neg repped me 'because he can'. ::) I think you should only be able to neg rep if you have a positive rep yourself. This works out so froobs don't damage rightful reputations (not saying my rep is rightful but still) I reckon you should have at least +1 to give neg rep.

^Yeah, this dude.

Please explain? I've never seen a rep system 'hurt' a community, much less cause problems beyond bitching about being neg repped :D

With a guy like Village Idiot, the rep is an outright game. (So can I +1) [smiley=laugh.gif]

And with a guy like me, lets say 50/50 (game/seriousness) ;)
