The subscript and superscript tags (which are very useful in technical discussions) have not worked ever since the switch from YaBB to vBulletin. Several users (including myself) have requested this feature, but it was never re-implemented. Is there any reason why it can't be done?

Yeah, I'd like to see some super/subscript tags especially for inlining equations. Of course even better would be a LaTeX plugin, but I'm not sure if the plugins are mature enough.

I would love a TeX style plugin.

super/sub scripts would be very useful on this forum, would like to see it implemented as well.

hi guys,

I am not sure this version of vbulletin supports this

due to security issues with the new builds (SQL injections, etc.) i am not looking to upgrade vbulletin itself.

i don't see any modifications for this on vbulletin . org

also i'm generally hestitant to install any modifications due to issues they can cause (either related to performance or security). I do extensive testing on any modifications before installing

best bet is probably just copy and paste when this comes up

e.g.

² ²³ for superscript chars

Actually the subscript and superscript are pretty simple to add so that why you can't find them, no mods and plugins used.

If you like I can email you with some details.
