Re: profile mod needs to be user friendly--its not

I am trying to upload my pictures. My stuff is on my computer or in my camera only. The only things on the net are in my myspace albums. How do I get those on here?

What are you talking about "Visata users do not have this...no one in the US has this"? AND " It is utterly worthless to ask for a URL for a pic when no such thing exists"

No idea what you are talking about there. And this form in not myspace or facebook. Nothing like it at all. Just go get an account at photobucket or imageshack. Upload the pic that you want to use there and then add the URL where it asks you.

No need for you to get all bent out of shape.

I cannot add pictures because it asks for a web address for the picture. I dont have a web address for each picture! Duh! they don't exist! Vista users do not have this, no one in the US has this. I should just be able to left-click on the damn picture and copy it and paste it in the box like all other websites like Myspace and Facebook allow you to do. It is utterly worthless to ask for a URL for a pic when no such thing exists. If we want to add pics allow us to copy and paste the damn things like most other sites. Any idea how to get around this:mad:

There are two ways to add pictures to this forum and they are VERY easy. You can either upload them with the option you see when in post mode.

Or you can insert the URL of the image. When you are in post mode you will see a row of icons at the top. Click the third one from the left and insert the URL of the image between the image tags.

@elitex I am assuming you want to put an avator up in your profile.

You can use cxrazy's link or go to photobucket (google it) sign up, load your picture up to your new account.  You can then copy the link into your profile.

Sorry about the attitude there. Vista is new to me and frustrating and still kind of learning the whole photo adding to forums thing. Didnt realize you have to use a photohost service to make this work.
