I still cant acess the site! This is the first time for 30hrs.. And im lucky if this medsage gets through! I have tried writing it 20 times before; all have failed?

Still some very odd behavior from lpf... errors on sending out PM's or replies, and the site seems to hang up altogether if I open a second tab.

LPF is under 200Mbps DDoS right now so my host is doing everything possible to only block out the "bad" portion of the traffic w/ minimal false positives.
you might ocassionally get a false positive error, so i would advise copying/pasting any data before posting it/etc.
under most circumstances a site wouldn't be operable under these conditions so thankfully overall everything is ok
please continue to report false positive errors so i can work with firehost to tweak the DDoS protection accordingly

Opening a second tab on lpf seems to basically stop it. After that nothing loads.

Any idea why we are under attack? Is this really some butthurt kid taking "revenge" for getting banished? LOL Or is it something more advanced and serious?

thx for update Infinitus, i have reported this to my host, i'm working directly w/ firehost security operations team to try and do everything possible to minimize impact of the DDoS but also keep site functioning with minimal false positives.

the bot traffic is coming from a vast array of IPs (likely all compromised computers), so it makes it very hard to see it as anything different from a normal user. i'm analyzing the packets and headers and so is my host and their really isn't any pattern in the data.

k, glad its still working fine overall. not easy to withstand a 200Mbps ddos attack . on any other webhost site would likely be down entirely
