Now I'm sorry if I've offend anyone, but don't you think we need a cool new logo?

I just don't get the whole grey-pixeled-script font....???

Perhaps something cool, like a good beam shot writing "Laser Pointer Forums" or a splash or red, green and blue lasers???

Just a thought though....

Just my opinion, but I think the ice cream template is a total step back. Sorry....

:p


I can't make anything myself tonight - I must focus on chemistry revision for a test tomorrow :-(
But something like this: (but with a waaayyyy better font of course - e.g. futura font??)

I would stay away from the rainbow look, TL will be drawn to this thread in a heart beat!

I didn't mean the full coloured rainbow, I meant colours like the 2nd pic but in the style of the 1st pic + laser text.....

Or something to that extent.... Basically to liven it up with a splash of R G B beams

Nice, but I think your first green design was the best. I think you're onto a winner with that!

Don't some places offer a competition for a new logo? I think the prize should be an RPL-350 or something! (Just kidding!)  :p

I can change the font at any time, I would first like to get the general Idea/Design down first.

Then we can play The what font is better game :)

and the 80's thing just shows my age :'(

You're really fast and good at comming up with ideas! I was just suggesting that the old one could do with being upgraded in the next few months, I didn't mean tonight!!!!!  :eek:

Again, excelent work! This place (and everyone in it) is fantastic!

I'd love to spend some more time with the design, but I'm going to have to leave it until tomorrow night if that's ok with you. I *need* to get this chemistry sorted in the next hour or two....  :-/

Hey no problem, We will continue tomorrow.

By the way I do websites, and have been trying to help the look out on this one a bit.
I have offered suggestions on a new logo in another thread, but nobody responded. So your input is nice to have and I'm reacting to it while its still around. ;)
