Missing PM's???

Anybody else missing sent or received PM's?

I have had people try to PM me, but no PM was received..

Also have sent PM's, which did not land in the recipients 'inbox'.

Everything else has been seemingly fine. Pages are loading
normal, just missing PM's :wtf:

LOL.. PM received, and responded.

It doesnt seem to be constant, seems to be an intermittent issue.
I get most of them, but some dont reach the recipient, and a few
have not reached me.

Its just the governments putting a plug-in in the forum software.

I noticed when we changed servers, and software, that all the PMs I deleted came back.

hi, can i please have some examples usernames of the PM senders accounts that tried to send PMs and didnt' get received?

in order to troubleshoot the issue, i will log in to these senders accounts temporarily, try sending to the same user that didn't receive, and try to replicate the problems

please email examples of:

PM Src Sender (username)
PM Dst Received (username)

send 2 atarasov at hushmail -dawt- com

im logged into nanolaser account for testing ( i emailed them about i had to change their pw to help with the testing on this)

so it appears i can send from their account, to me and you. did u receive the message i sent from them to u too?

one theory i have is that the site going into maitenance mode for a backup could have maybe caused this, idk

i def see the message he "sent" in hsi sent box that u didn't receive. i forwarded u this via email. can u double check u never got the PM that i forwarded that he sent u?

glad its working im guessing the reason maybe the issue happen is

site goes into maintenace mode (user happens to try and hit the send button after the site was already put in maintenance).

i could be entirely wrong its just a lucky guess but im guessing it might of involved something like this

That has happened to me when hitting the send button, but I usually
encounter the page that says 'brb'.

yeah maybe what happens is the PM still shows in "sent", but never really gets sent. next time the forum goes in maitenance mode feel free to test it if you hapeen to already have a PM opened

Is the "sent" PMs box supposed to work? Mine hasn't worked in ages. Sometimes it's useful to recheck stuff I've sent.
