Layout much better

This is ridiculously terrible... can we please just have the palette back?

Solution: Get a PC :na:

I use my Windows 7 laptop for Windows development and a lot of my embedded. I use my Macbook for development (PC-side and some embedded) and photo processing.

But when I reach for one for just everyday use browsing the internet and word processing, I reach for my Macbook nine out of ten times. The only times I use my Windows laptop to browse LPF are when I'm distracting myself from a code project.

But yes, I was aware... I actually said that in an earlier post haha. Whoever came up with the design probably didn't test it on a Mac. Pretty crappy web designer... lol.

But really though, the palette was so much better than the dropdown!

i dont mind the new layout for my PC, havent tried on my phone yet but i did kinda like the palette as well.

It's not the end of the world... I mean, I can just click one of the options and replace the color name with "Red" or "Orange" or whatever.

A mere annoyance... but an unnecessary one.

Something I really like is when you click the link for an unread PM, it takes you right to it, rather than dealing with a dropdown. So the changes aren't all bad!
