There has been a complaint that some of the posts in these threads violate the intellectual
property rights of J. Bauer electronics.

I am not an intellectual property lawyer, nor do I wish to go the expense of obtaining the opinion of one
in this matter.

As a rule, I think that publication or modification of proprietary code which has been obtained through reverse engineering or other techniques not authorized by the party which asserts copyright, may be construed as a violation of the LPF terms of service. The same would be true of publication of design details to which someone claims patent rights or violation of a "trade secret".

Since there are some posts on these threads that may infringe on the intellectual property rights of an individual or company, I think it best to remove these threads.

If someone wishes to publish "freeware" that is entirely of their own design and creation, that would be acceptable for posting.
