have to agree with mfo. By you pushing opera down everyone's throat it makes me not want to try it. Most people shy away from hype. Which is why in another thread i asked you if you are getting paid to push it. I don't see the need to always bring opera up for no other reason than you like it. Sorry i'm not trying to start anything. I'm (we) are just tiered of seeing opera as the answer for all browser problems. I'm happy you like it, but stop ramming it down everyone's throat.

thats why i posted this thread simple because im not into using firefox or opera in my machine. Though Firefox is good but as an Alliance developer for Microsoft i will have to use IE8. Instead of helping me out on adjusting my setting for my IE what did you do? you told me to go firefox or opera, though its a good suggestion but why the heck will I post my problem here if i can go use FIREFOX or OPERA. You want me to tell the truth?

IE8 has been more secured browsing for me whenever i use E-stores and trading tru the Internet. Firefox is fast and good a bit secured but opera is a trash... you might as well have a survey here in Asia and the Pacific.. people will say we only use IE8 and Firefox, and what they say about Opera.. well 75% " i better have Firefox than opera " if opera works for you, that good but insisting it on me and pushing me to use your prefered browser is already crossing the line. Here in LPF we are a community and WE must HELP each OTHER and TRUST each OTHER. NOT insisting on our OWN preffered choice but AIMING to HELP the person ACCORDING to HIS needs....

I hope you will not get mad at me for saying that... I became silent because i got offended on your first post.. But since there was an ON-GOING flame war on the THREAD that I Started which the purpose was JUST to SEEK help, turns out to be a warfield..

Now i have to ACT...

It seems like if I was forcing anyone to use it lol, you asked for help because IE8 wasn't working properly on LPF, what I meant is that I couldn't help you on fixing IE8 but that you wouldn't have those kind of problems if you switched to Opera (or even to Firefox).

If you don't like my posts just don't read them lol no one is forcing you, many users discovered Opera and are now happy Opera users because I promoted it, I'm glad I could help them.

99% of the IE users just ignore the existence of those browsers, that's why I said you that Opera could work for you.

Well maybe we alredy discused this in the Opera thread but I just didn't remember, so I wasn't trying to insist on nothing, just giving my advice.

Well it's a browser related thread, and it's not only that I like it, it's that most of the people who try it switch to it, so actually I don't think advising others to try it is a bad idea.

You shouldn't assume nothing then xD I'm not feeling attacked, I just think you guys are making a big problem from nothing. Anyway, the real problem is that I now remember discusing with matrix about Opera usage on my thread so he might have felt like If I was insisting when I just had not even realized about it xD

You sound like you are feeling you are being attacked. There was no flame war, just people expressing they don't want to be told to use Opera for the 100th time. People want to read your post. You are a smart, decent person. But it gets overwelming that your posts are a billboard for Opera, and you are always telling people to get it. Its like me pushing the DIY group everywhere. Its information over load. If someone asks you about it, fine, write paragraphs. But its not a fix all solution that needs to be pimped out every time someone has an browser issue.

well my inquiry is clear about IE8 right? since you dont use IE8 and you said you could not help me with it then i guess you should have not posted about your opera right? im not ignorant on browsers and to tell you honestly, I prefer FIREFOX than Opera...

I just want to know why my IE was behaving like that after the forum update. Again its you who started it. after MFO posts the solution you replied again on the post saying for goodness sake switch to opera... <-- isn't that what you said? you can even scroll up if you like. Not to MENTION the TITLE of my THREAD.. IE8 and the FORUM not OPERA and the FORUM right? my INQUIRY is not about SWITCHING to other browsers but about FINDING a SOLUTION to make my BROWSER worked without getting a new BROWSER.

you already posted on the beginning to try opera, i did not reply because i dont want it..

then Mfo gave me the solution... and you still insisted.
