I wanted to get my 1st high power laser.

Hey, I wanted to purchase my 1st high powered laser.
I want to warn in advance that I over kill everything I do, so I was looking for something in to 2000mw(2w) range. I see all these cheap lasers and I suspect they are so called 2000mw but have a restrictor on them. So I wanted some help on choosing a laser.

The other problem is I live in the US and I know a lot of lasers are confiscated. I have ordered low powered 5mw lasers on eBay that comply with us laws, but I was wondering is there anyway I could get a high powered laser?

It says they will send a new on if customs confiscates it?

hello there, i have purchased 2 lasers from Sci-Fi lasers and i know from mine and others experiences that he sells very good lasers and provides good customer service! you could purchase from his site and also contact him here on LPF "Thejoker301" with any questions etc,

You are new here and looking for High Powered lasers, so first before purchase i must highly recomend you to read some stickies in different sections such as safety and legal etc, you will need Protective glasses also,

I ordered the one advertised on the forum that I put in my second post. Problem is its been 24hrs now and I still haven't been givin a confirmation email or tracking number saying its been shipped.

I know all the legal bull for the US, so I'm just praying it gets here. Ik I need glasses, the one I order comes with a pair, but I also bought another pair on eBay.

Be aware most eBay glasses offer 0 protection, best not use them.

What safety goggles would you guys suggest i get?
I was looking at this pair, but the price is steep. But i also know that a 2w laser will burn right through a cheap pair.
