A Hide or Spoiler Feature

I thought that a hidden text or spoiler feature would come on handy if implemented.
It could reduce loading times if a thread had many pictures and it would avoid people from seeing something that they may not want to see.
It would make threads look simpler and crisper as well.

On other forums I've seen have a code
Code:
[spoiler] hidden text here [/spoiler]
which would active the spoiler when the post was made.

Thoughts? :)

Interesting suggestion...

Most people who post a lot of pictures generally resize all the images, and put a "Pic Heavy" disclaimer on their threads, but this would be a welcome addition.

Well we don't discuss a lot of movies/games or something with a storyline or anything that may or may not actually need the spoiler tags.

If they can be implemented easily, it's be a welcome addition, but if it requires some work to do, I don't think the actual usage will pay off.

Would need C0ld's input on this.

Thank you for the feedback.

As that is one of the reasons I suggested this, it is not the main one that I
imagined it being used for. If a tutorial, review, or list of products etc. etc. that needed a lot of pictures or information in a specific area the spoiler would make it easier to open the info/picture versus having a whole list or picture in the way of your reading of the post. They definitely can clean up a post's look.

I would think that pictures of laser parts, beams, etc. could get out of hand so spoilers could help differentiate the parts.
