Hi. I have laser from next hand. It was a local insertion. I am new and it is "should be" the first more powerfull laser. First I thought, that the batteries are low like said the first owner "Batteries are cheap from China.".

The laser is "should be" 532nm green laser. Yes, the light is green. :D
And should have power 200mW. It is not adjustable laser.
Power supply is 2×AAA batteries 1.5V Alkaline.

So I want know, if I was the victim of bad seller or problem is another.
How I can know, that the laser is 200mW?

And sorry, if here was post like this. I was searching, but I didn't find similar situation. Maybe nobody did mistake like me.

Last thing to say: the light beam is visible, but not too much now. It's light outside. Visible only in darker rooms.

Sorry for photo quality, but I had to switch off flash.

Hello and welcome to the forum!

Where did you get the laser from? Got a link?
And no, it's not 200mW. Unless maybe you paid like 100$ for it.
To get a rough estimate of the power, you can try a couple of things:
Does the laser pop a (red or black) balloon? If yes, it's likely >50mW.
Does the laser light a match? If yes, it's likely >100mW.

But really, these are only very rough estimates, and the only way to know
the power for sure is to use a Laser Power Meter.

Even if the laser is only ~50mW or even just 20mW it is still very dangerous to your eyes!.
So never ever look directly into the laser, and be very very careful of reflections
off of windows, mirrors, metal surfaces....

Do you have protection goggles?

Please read the stickies about laser safety.

Have fun!

It cost 50€. And if I will post link where did I get it from, it is not in english language. But I do not think, that it will pop a baloon. It doesn't heat anything. It's maybe 15 - 30mW.
I do not own any of safety glasses currently and I read about safety statements.

Anyways, thank you for reply. :)
