Well, at least it isn't just continuing to climb. That may mean that the counter wasn't screwy.

It appears to have peaked this morning above 3900. Now it is back "down" to ~3700.

Peace,

LOL! Those were the days when I could have the latest post in every board! :p

EDIT: 2702 now, now are we going for 3K?? :p
That was when everybody had their "SenKat" or "GB" diodes, remember when we couldn't push those much past 200mA without early death? I remember when Kenom posted that he got 250mW out of one and everybody was amazed :D. I think all we talked about then was how good Nova Lasers were and how bad NewWish lasers were. I also remember the first 5mW blu-ray build by Daedal...this hobby has changed a lot since this forum has grown.

As well as people bought whole PS3's and ripped them for the diodes! LOL!

I bought my first SenKat diode in 2007, blew it up like 5 seconds after receiving it! :D :D

If you all haven't heard yesterday's record topped at 3975. It was because of Pseudolobster posting FireMyLaser's homemade laser spiro video. It was featured on hackaday.com. I read that there were 2000 people in the multimedia section alone! Way to go!

Thanks. I edited it too. For some reason I thought it was someone else before I posted in these threads.

You know, I actually came here to ask if the DX 30 was a good deal. Back then there was only ONE thread about it and nothing else... <--- One of the reasons the FAQ was made ;) :D
