Yeah... I check it against the eBay official time and LPF seems
to be about 3 minutes fast...

The kid finally did something constructive....  [smiley=thumbsup.gif]

In the world of "ms"... that's 180,000 units of time... If anyone cares... ;D ;D

Damn Diachi, you tell him! ;D

But this thread could turn interesting...

Everybody post what time it is in your town so everybody can see the difference from where they are to where you are! For example, if you see the attached image, I posted "9:28am" and my LPF time says it was posted at "9:31am", but someone at UK will see a completely different post time! :D

John Lawson and I are in the same time zone, since we both live in the same state on the west coast, how suprising! ;D Diachi is 8 hours ahead of us... and Josh is 2 hours ahead.

P.S. To get the exact time, wait until you see your cell phone clock go up a minute, then at that exact second hit "post" ;D I think the adverage is 3 1/2 minutes fast ;D

umm.. apparently i do !  And know its 1 hour ahead of time !! [/quote]

I'm going to assume that's a DST problem and the clock is only off by 4 minutes, thus rendering your argument moot once more.

Daylight Savings Time is observed differently in certain time zones, plus last year at this time the US government redefined the date on which DST "falls back", and a lot of software hasn't coped well with the switch. My boss's cell phone, for instance, you keep setting it back an hour, and it keeps setting itself forward... It has it hardcoded to switch on a certain date, before then it believes DST isn't in effect and forces the clock to the incorrect time.
