I've been using malwarebytes forever on all of my computers. Actually paid for the program once or twice when it was on sale.

@Ped - do you have the latest version? For me it goes off both at home and at work.

"wp-content" = virus, because people attack wp a lot.

The link is what appears to be a fairly innocuous png, but it could be that the thebigslice.org web server was compromised somewhat recently, putting it on some sort of interal list at avast!.

That's often the case. My company website was infected a while back, took forever to stop getting blocked after.

Yup, same as on mine, only difference is I do the program updates manually.

Between avast, malwarebytes, and generally being fairly cautious online, I haven't have any issues in years.

Also use adblock plus as a matter of course, except I unblock certain websites to permit ads there.
