We can move the various threads into the new board.

We don't have a 473nm board. We have a "Blue, Yellow, and Other Colored Lasers" Board. The problem I see is that the DPSS, 473nm lasers are VERY different from these 445nm diodes. If we don't separate them, the information and advice could be confusing.

Yeah.... good logical point...I think it would be a good idea to have a
separate board for these Blue non DPSS Laser Diodes like we do for
Red and Green Lasers... It would make finding info and data a lot
easier...

BTW... they did something similar on PL yesterday... IIRC..

On the serious side, they are becoming available so quickly, that a dedicated place with all the possible tests and data in a single section, can be really helpful for a lot of peoples .....

The 445nm diodes are closer in nature to violet diodes than they are to the 473nm DPSS lasers. At least from my perspective, which is admittedly skewed, I'd rather put them in with the violet...but I know that will confuse others, so I understand not wanting to do it that was as well.

Either way, decided sooner rather than later is probably better...it's easier to find the posts to move while there are fewer of them, that's for sure.

I thought similarily the same thing. We need a 'charts and data' section. With subections inside that with all the different wavelengths. Just my 2 cents.
