Can no longer add photos--plz help

Why am I having problems attaching photos to a post?? under 'additional options' I see no place to open and add jpegs--= where do I click--help somebody-I see some other changes too but have figured them out but not this one??? when I click on 'attach files' nothing happens???thanks--hz

Len, Have you thought about using the free gallery right here on the forum??

Then you can insert the pics like I do.

never heard of that?? still does not explain why I can no longer PM anybody-have I accidently changes something in my user CP?--where did the green(on-line) dot go?--thanks for the help--Len ps your package is on the way.

I never use that. First because you use the forum space, which isn't free, and secondly because using imageshack is easier and better

I always host my pics on my own server, When I pull the plug, I take my pics with me.

One forum I used to be on still has my 4000+ posts, but I renamed my picture folder, they don't get my pics.

what is the size of the image?

files allowed to be added are

avi bmp doc gif jpe jpeg jpg mov mpg pdf png psd txt wmv zip

i think the jpg / jpeg size limit is 780KB, i can make this bigger though if needed

Nothing happens when I click attach files- no open= no browse- cant PM- visitor message only mosy links don't open either/// cant PM on another forum either

When replying make sure you are in advance mode...click on attach.. it should open a new window/tab... click the choose button...browse your computer for the file... press open... then near the last "choose" button press upload...once uploaded the first box (or if uploading multiple files) should appear blank... close that window/tab...scroll down (on the "reply to thread" page) to "attached files" to make sure the image has been uploaded correctly.

That is it!! here is a pic uploaded in this way to prove it works

I find it easier to use a third party site like Potobucket, just upload your images to the site and copy and paste the image code to your post.

i think the problem could be related to something on your comp interfering (maybe some malware or something)

is anyone else having this same problem?

Nope.

Len sounds like you have a major bug in your PC. Do some virus checks, download Spybot SD and check for malware. If there is nothing found you may have to use the repair console.

If you have malware use malware bytes you can either buy it or use the free version I have fixed tons of my friends problems with it!

Just a little off topic question, why do you always use "--" too separate your paragraphs or sentences? It makes things hard to read, why don't you just tap enter?
