I'm seeing posts I made last night gone. I'm seeing PMs i sent not there, and one that I read ages ago marked new. I'm guessing there were server probs and good old c0ldshadow had to restore from a backup.
Considering also that I got nothing but '500 Internal server error' pages last night loading this.

my host unexpectedly moved my site to another server. i had to do DNS changes as well

the site was causing load issues on the server that was affecting other users

because i received no warning about this the site, it was never put in maintenance mode, so i would except a few things would be lost.

if i need to upgrade to VPS hosting i will, but its going to cost a lot more.

i have instructed my host in the future to contact me before doing anything to the site if at all possible, so that way i can at least put it in maintenance mode

Thats what you get for using a board system that uses a flatfile database with lots of users. Server stress.
