Nintendo 1st gen had game cartages that you blow into to remove dust that prevents good contact between the council and board (game) so you could play Nintendo!

Super nes was next, then 64, then game cube. I believe the game cube is ~ 7 years old, so V.I. said if your younger then 7 yrs, GTFO. He said, even he had a Nintendo 64 which would make him older then 12yrs since it came out in 1996. I find it funny that I play kids on xbox live who probably never seen a Nintendo, or people don't get the joke "Blow Me" written under a picture of a nintendo game. http://www.ncecbvi.org/students/keith/Nintendo.html

:-[ Thanks Ace82 :-[

It was a joke.

Although I (of course) only had a stick and a rock to play with, I do have two sons and four grandchildren. We've thrown away more obsolete "video games" than I care to remember. I have the "picture" of my sons blowing on their cartridges and banging them against their legs to make them work, clearly etched in my mind (at least until the alzhiemers kicks in). ;)

Peace,
dave

I'm one of the reasons that "collectibles" are valuable. I clean it out and get rid of it.

"Did you get a new one?" "Then throw the other one away or give it to someone who has none."

Peace,
dave

I figured, I just wasn’t sure how old you are! ::) ;D Lol! Plus I was curious myself of the history (as to reflect upon my childhood).

The original Zelda is one of the best games ever. I know most every secret and can beat the whole game in 4-6hrs (since I'v only done it 4 times), mine doesn't save anymore so I must leave it on.

if you popped the cartridge open you could probably replace the coin cell battery that holds the save data
