Iam just curious if this is me or a new thing here. I am getting alot of re directs to other sites and to google play store when I try to browse the forums on my android phone.

I tried 5 times to go into my "user cp" each time being re directed until I gave up and jumped on my desktop.

Anyone else experience this?

Sometimes when I browse on my android phone, mid-loading it'll open up a uTorrent client and ask for download location.

I have to cancel it up to 2-3 times per page. It usually happens on pages with a lot of images on it, never on my user control panel.

That is absurd. Time to switch ad providers?

I'm using Dolphin browser on my Note 2, but I reckon quite important would be an app of this character to be used to prevent any ad pop ups:

Adfree Android Newest Version - xda-developers

You need to be rooted, though.

I'm using a ROM which has the ad-block function pre-enabled already, so I assume thanks to it I don't experience any ads related issues;).

^I kept reading either way about the AdFree or AdAway app. But as I mentioned, if it's a part of the ROM (although not necessarily updated) it might work as well. It does on my phone (for now).

This is also happening to me with my Barnes & Noble "nook" tablet that I use while at work. Usually it's google play store for me.

Also, won't let me rep either, as soon as the rep box pops up, it disappears.

Wonder why that is? Find it VERY annoying as I tell someone I will REP them but may forget when I get home to do it.
What ad blocker should I use on my phone that doesn't involve me hacking it in any way?

@ Pman - It's a PITA alright, lately when I rep someone while on the phone, or my tablet, I send them a short PM saying that I'll do the rep as soon as I get to my PC.
Then, hopefully not forgetting to do it!

the ad network causing the problems has been removed

please clear your browser cache and reload LPF and the ads causing the issue should be gone

it's mind-boggling to me that some of these ad networks don't get that nobody likes annoying ads.. its a lose lose situation for both the advertisers and the publishers.

audio ads, redirects are simply inexcusable

hopefully someday advertisers will realize that crappy audio ads and redirects make their company look bad, not good (+ they are paying money for crap ads lol)

sorry for any incovenience
fortunately the other ad networks haven't had any problems

peace
