While at work, I sometimes have a few moments, here and there between building and testing code. On occasion, one of the LPF ads begins playing something about 'Doggy Dentures" and I gotta say, it's pretty annoying, but more still, it's getting me in trouble at work.

I need my sound enabled to hear alerts and other things. Does anyone have a suggestion on how I can mute this ad from playing? (Windows 7 desktop, FF)

On my iPad at home while viewing LPF, there is this annoying little Disney movie ad that pops up along the bottom of the screen. It, too, is annoying because it doesn't pop up right away. (Perhaps due to lag or connection speed). Several times, now, right when I am about to tap "Preview Post" near the bottom of the screen, the popup appears and boom, I've tapped the ad.

The sad thing is, on iPad's Safari, it doesn't open a new tab. And when I click the back button, the post I've written is gone. Grrrr. :yabbmad:

I welcome any corrective suggestions anyone readers may have.

Simple. Bottom right of desktop, left-click once on the sound icon then Mixer. Once there, you can mute the internet browser you're using.
