Hey I'm glad we're getting this stuff worked out. I for one, have not always been the best member here.
Sometimes I leave sarcastic replies, posts that are an obvious joke to the knowledgeable, but not at all obvious to new members.
Sometimes I +rep people for silly, or selfish reasons, and sometimes my posts are completely worthless.
I have not yet financially contributed to this forum, when I have been able to before in the past.
Sometimes I forget to reply to PMs.
I jump into conversations that I have no part of, and (possibly) consequently even contribute to the drama that jumps in and out of here by throwing in my opinion where it doesn't belong.
I can see where I can and ought to be more responsible as a member here. You guys are the best and I have lots of respect for you all, and I need to start acting like I mean that.

Dude, check your rep page. The entire forum has been more or less dishing out neg-rep towards you. You make retarded post, a perfect example being that spam you posted for no good reason.
Strange, I thought this was the "Admit you did something wrong" thread, not the "I feel another member did something wrong" thread. Anyhow, I'm going to explain my actions here ONE final time for those of you that missed it.
I'll start with Jeff first. The drama between him and I goes back to a thread that was started in min January or so. The title of the thread was something along the lines of "How many mW for hazing canadian geese green laser". Long story short, the OP was having some problems with Canadian Geese, and wanted to know how strong of a green laser to use to scare them away. Few members helped with this, others like myself saw this as a not so smart method. One minute, all of us here are safety conscience as far as pointing a laser at someone's/something's eyes go, and the next we're offering stupid advice on how to potentially blind a goose. It didn't make sense to me.
Anyhow, that wasn't even really the bad part. Another user entered the forum and stated that he usually just "shot the bird and left it's corpse laying there" for the others to see it. Now, this user took a LOT of heat from it, including from myself. I'm not going to explain why, because that to me would be like opening a can of worms and starting up drama that's already been done with (You see unlike some of you here, I know how to move on from things). Anyhow, Jeff singled me out and, said some nasty things to me, and has since been saying slick things here and there in reply to some of my recent posts.
Going back one step, I started a thread to have that user banned (The one that said shoot the bird). A lot of people agreed with me, and he was temp banned for a while. In that thread, Jeff and a few others started calling me names like forum cop. To me, that was insulting (It wasn't in a good way, how can it be good anyway?), but I turned a blind eye towards it. I usually don't let a bunch of text on the internet bother me, however my buttons can only be pushed so many times before I give you a piece of my mind (Which is what I did when I called him a troll in that Mg thread). You see, ever since that geese thread in January, Jeff has been nit picking at me, replying to some of my posts in an effort to insult my intelligence. To me, he was making things personal. A thread in which this can be seen are the burning magnesium thread. He more or less said I was stupid because had the burning Mg fell into the water, I could have caused an explosion. Now, do bare in mind that the amount of Mg in question here was literally a tiny strip, about 4mm wide by 20mm long. Not to mention that I've immersed burning magnesium strips in water sever times, all resulting in the same thing: the flame going out. Now, would there indeed be an explosion with larger amounts of Mg? Who knows, I've never worked with it. If I decide to work with it, I will research it. However, I was using strips with an insignificant amount of the Mg. Another thread in which he was trying to get to me was one in which I stated the dangers of a protected 10440 battery. Long story short, the battery somehow shorted out and was getting VERY hot. Instead of sitting back and watching it get hotter until it eventually ruptured (the plastic cover on the battery started shriveling and melting), I decided to drop it into a sink of water to cool it down. Now, many people informed me that that wasn't the brightest move on my part because Lithium is a very reactive metal towards water and could have made an explosion. My rebuttal was doing nothing would have been worse, not to mention I didn't believe that those batteries contained pure Lithium (The kind that will react violently with water) so I was not concerned about that. However, the batteries may well indeed contain pure Lithium, I'm not too sure as no one really ever gave me a direct answer. Did I dodge a bullet that day? Possibly. However, his (Jeff's) remarks were purely looking for trouble.
Now, I will move on to Andrew. Andrew and I have had a few little spats here and there, going as far back to a DAoO thread. I didn't take things personally though. I still was even a customer of his until recently. The thing that really pissed me off about Andrew was posted in the thread I started to get slipstream banned. He posted stupid things like I was a forum cop, and called me paranoid. Why? I had a strong feeling that slipstream was a previously banned member known as arenared. A few members gave me crap about that thread, including Jeff, Pat (ElektroFreak) and Sebastian (Jaseth). Turns out, I was right and slipstream was perma-banned. Out of those members, only Pat was decent enough to offer me an apology for treating me the way he did. However, Jeff, Andrew & Seb did not, and more or less flamed me even more when I asked for one. Long story short, he treated me like shit in open forums, and then wasn't even man enough to apologize for it. Did anyone leave him negative rep for his comments? Of course not, only me when I retaliate and say something back. Sure, it wasn't the best action on my part to let drama spill into his "I need help thread". I should have been the bigger man, kept my mouth shut and kept it moving. Let me ask you all this though. Was it ok for Jeff to let drama spill into it? He purposely brought my Mg thread into Andrews help thread. No one said anything to him though. That's why I was leaving some members neg-rep in retaliation to them leaving me negative rep, for jumping on the bandwagon. No one knew the facts, everyone just decided to negative rep me. Oh, and here's a news flash for those of you that did rep me: I don't care about rep.
That was a lot of typing, and therefor I'm done. A lot of people here are drama queens. No one ever sees the good things that go on here, only the negative things. Some members are flaming me saying I'm useless, I don't contribute and things of that nature. Now, I might not be the equivalent of daguin over here, but I've done my fair share of contributions. I'm not going to point them out because I don't care to and I'm not here to impress anyone. If you know me, then you'll know where and how I've given back.

Good one Meatball Yes sometimes I forget to answer PM's or will be short with an answer on one because I'm working on something, I must be better with that and give full answers, part of that problem was I had a crapy yellow flex keyboard and it just got worse over time and when I got rid of it and got this new one I was typing things like 2 or 3 times befor it would show up on the screen, but now I have a keyboard that works 100% but a smaller work area
EDIT I just read post #24 and I do feel sorry for you MFO that you feel so picked on, in every thread you cited that I said something you didn't like or want to hear form me I was only saying things that other poeple had said or was about to say and all of it was for the good of the forum and it's readers, just because you don't know or haven't had a bad experance with reactive metals and H2O dosn't mean you should be alowed to post that you havent had a problem period. this can have very bad results and personal injury for unknowing members and I felt they should be warned of the dangers that you seem to have missed !

All I am going to say is this. There's a right way and a wrong way to handle every situation in life that you may be presented with. As I admitted earlier, maybe putting that battery in the water wasn't the best move on my part. But to me, when you say something along the lines of "you're stupid for putting that battery in there, it could have exploded", well, how do you expect one to react to that?
When you and everyone else kept calling me a forum cop, it made me feel like my efforts were in vein. All I was trying to do was keep a banned member banned. However, everyone decided to shoot the messenger.
You were on my ignore list as well as a couple of other members. For the sake of this thread however, I removed the members from the ignore list so that I can be reasonable and hear what everyone has to say.
