10 posts required to post links

hey everyone, i changed the settings so that 10 posts are required to post links instead of 25. also, i changed the error message that users get when they try posting a link but don't have 10 posts. before the error message was vague, only saying there is no permission for posting links. now it states that you need 10 posts to post links, and the reason is to cut down on spam.

Is there any way to post the edit box on the error page, with the contents of the attempted post intact?

A lot of people complain that their long, well thought out post gets eaten if they include a link, making them retype the whole thing from scratch.
