"Suggestions go here too! "

So ummm...are you open to full size posters of hot babes doing things with lasers ?
Market them as "The ultimate background for your home laser pictures !"
Might be interested in a couple of those...the walls in my shop are pretty dingy lookin'.

Besides, those "Sharks with frikin laser beams attached to their heads" don't come with proper specs on the wavelength or power ratings. Probably underspec units. And if the "sharks" are underspec too you end up with a dogfish with a dollar-store laser pointer taped to it's head. Not the intimidator that you would expect.
:yh:

As to the poll : either of the first 2 options sound good.

For your "Sexy" overspec greens (e.g. Viper-ish by DL host)

Are you talking about these?

50mW 532nm Open-Back Green Laser Pointer Pen BGP3032(2 x AAAincluded) - DinoDirect.com

They were also available in silver and as a 5mW version some time ago, for $10 each. Bought a few of the 50mW and 100mW ones, all of them overspec, very low <10% IR inside.

Wow yeah exactly that kind! I wonder if they'll give a discount for bulk even though they're already having the clearance sale for that item.... I'll check ;)

Dino is always having a "clearance" sale:whistle:

Kind of like furniture stores and all my clients who sell to the government. I usually set sales with end dates one year into the future;)

Dino is awesome, if you ever want to buy something over 15$ leave a 500$ laser projector in your cart, and in a few days their automated system will send you a coupon for 5$ for anything over 15$. :D

They also have random coupons that pop up while poking around their site.
And I think dino10 gives you 10% off.

True, however, please understand that those kinds of discounts are very well factored into their bottom line.

It does not mitigate the "list" price that is always artificially high, and I'm willing to bet most items can be found for equal or lesser price elsewhere.

Maybe I'm old fashioned but I prefer an honest take it leave it price from the start:tinfoil:

YES!
i would like one of those for all time pocket carry!
also, whats the peak for the 50mw ones?
im considering getting one
thanks!
BTW for generic 2X AAA's like those, would it be better to use a 10440 and a spacer?

EDIT:
also, how is the quality of the threads on the end cap?
my first new wish pen has crappy threads that stripped after three battery replacements
i had to "pressure fit" it in with some aluminum foil...

Blu-rays would probably be easiest for me especially since I can't reallly compete with that dino deal and their bulk wouldn't really get you guys a discount anyways... I may start ordering some blu-rays!

IMO these Viper (GLP) fake lasers are awesome.

My 50mW models are all doing above 55mW, one of my 100mW is outputting stable 140mW
