I'm just curious who was able to successfully place an order today, and who got hosed?

I couldn't even access their site to create an account, view the products, add anything to my cart, etc. And even after the event has been over, I still can't get to it.

So, did you place an order, or did you have connection issues?

I already said this, but for the record:
Started getting through about one hour after the beggining.
Went through all 4 pages and paypal password and info confirmation in 10 minutes.
The very last page (ending order_confirmation) refused to load for more then half an hour, even after the end of free day.
ONE CLICK AWAY....

It took me an hour and a half of constantly sitting there and refreshing the page, but I managed to place it 15 minutes before the offer ended.

Cool to see someone actually got something - I got several pages to load during the rush but was never able to submit an order.

I have spent 3 wasted hours today and yesterday getting this bull to work, and then of course it decides to really freeze up on me RIGHT as I finally confirm the order, so they never got the request. How about they spend 1/20th of that 100K to rent some decent servers for the day? Or just do something like where the first 1000 people to GO TO THE CHECKOUT PAGE get the free order. I was on there RIGHT at 9:00.

SF imo did there best --we all had high hopes --world econmy sucks- a $100 freebie is what we would all enjoy- but odds are not good to get lucky-no ones fault- math-G'nite need a nap.==peace hak

Nope never made it through even once. I had my cart loaded at 0500hrs. Took lunch when it started and nothing from then on. Time out loading page. My wife worked on it when I went back to work.. I did a quick trace route, 31 hops for me. Ohio here. so anyone east of the Mississippi get through? Or any of our overseas members?

Oh well it was a good offer and everyone can't get it.

You guys are lucky you got a page even loaded. I was up from 2am to 3:30am and didnt see a single page load!
