Lucky, I would love to have one The EDC blade I have with me is great, but I would love to replace it with a switchblade.

I am actually thinking about purchasing a handgun soon. Don't know what kind I should get though....contemplating a Glock G22 because of a friend's recommendation. Any suggestions?

Kimber Ultra Crimson Carry 2. Love it. A little on the heavy side but she lets you know shes still there at your side in case shit. Not a Glock fan. Not a bad weapon but kind of the bandwagon gun and I like to be different. If you do go Glock get at least a 40. If I was high on meth that bb of a 9mm wont stop anything.

If you're caught with a hobby knife in your pocket, you can be arrested in Aus. But I'm glad the laws are so strict, a lot more difficult for someone to punch or stab you to death than shoot you.

Even like a pocket knife, like those tiny swiss army blades?

I always consider my EDC knife to be a tool, not a weapon.

But the thing is... you guys are in Australia; the land where just about everything is deadly. I'm pretty sure if someone wanted to kill you they could just look around for a few min, grab a funnel web spider with a small jar, and then chuck it at you, and have the same end result as carrying a gun. There are probably hundreds of alternatives to the SFWS that they could substitute in as well. Hell, they could envenomate a pointed stick and it would be more deadly than a Bowie knife.

I've been a gun smith for over 20 years now and I've never seen a gun load itself or shoot someone
