Just thought this could be a fun little poll, since both seem to not be very highly ranked on LPF :D

So? Which do you prefer?

Im talking about eBay 532nm vs WickedLasers 532nm!

This is an impossible poll. Are you trying to see which place would be a better buy overall? If so eBay packs a huge punch for their power/price point. If you are talking about host, WL destroys eBay utterly. If you are referring to customer service, neither may necessarily be any better. And this assumes there are no actual lasers on eBay, just how Styro's lasers on there right now

Uhmm, yeah I like, like eBay, cause their lasers are like waaaayy overspec. So if like wicked lasers were like THAT overspec you could get like a 10w green diode for like two hundy.

Just me tho ..

(Crazy question man) :p

I know haha, what I was really asking is if you prefer over-spec lasers over a good look host or vice-versa. I didn't word that completely right

Nah all in good fun buddy :D we know what you mean. It's just hard to put a quality gauge on a auction site. I've had great experiences with eBay, but I've heard many who haven't been so lucky. Same with wl. Some have good to say, some not so much. I don't have and experience with an actual wicked laser so I can't say. I know the only wicked laser I have does have a killer host. And the eBay lasers are great value for the money.

eBay greens are as we all know mostly way overspec so great value power wise and for the price if u do get a dud one who cares. On the other hand the host is boring and WL wins easy but costs heaps more indivudual preference .As my every day sitting next to me on the table to play with in front of TV type ,I don't have 1 plus watt blues or other high power lasers I have a 140mW red ,95mW green and 90 mW violet eBay pens .On weekend I take out the big guns for fun .

An unfair comparison IMO, one is $50 and the other is $5.

I would go with the core, just because it has held up. Ebay pointers break on me after a week of use.

A better poll would be Anser vs core.

Now that would be an interesting comparison... but I think the Anser scores the points on that one
